As a fresh member of a project team tasked with designing a prototype for a new product, I faced a daunting obstacle when we couldn't find a supplier who could meet our requirements within our budget. Nevertheless, through creative and persistent problem-solving, we successfully overcame the hurdle and completed the project.

Initially, we were disheartened by the limited choices of materials for our prototype. Instead of giving up, we decided to brainstorm ideas and explore alternative solutions. After thorough research, we finally found a local supplier that offered a similar material at a lower cost. However, we had to conduct several experiments to ensure that the material met the product's standards since it was not commonly used in our industry.

To test the material, I recommended creating a test plan and experimenting with it under varying conditions. After comprehensive testing, we concluded that the material was efficient and met our standards. Unfortunately, we discovered that the supplier could not provide the required quantities, which was a significant setback.

We did not lose hope but instead decided to think innovatively and consider other possibilities. We conducted extensive research and identified numerous potential suppliers. However, the cost of purchasing the material from them surpassed our budget.
